Eissa Al-Ghanim

Born in Sharq in 1937, writer and researcher in Kuwaiti heritage, Eissa Fahad Al-Ghanim, begins this interview by speaking about his childhood in Al-Aqoul neighborhood in Sharq and the pearl diving trip he embarked on. Al-Ghanim remembers the World War II period, and mentions a number of jobs that he had, like working at the health department at the Kuwait Oil Company, the Directorate of Nationality in 1960, as well as working in theater, radio and television. Al-Ghanim speaks after that about the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait and the liberation of Kuwait, and ends the interview by speaking about his contribution to the establishment of the Bait Al-Othman Museum, about his illness and treatment, and his radio program “Nahno wal Ayyam”.
